Not far from the glitz of Las Vegas, the magestic Colorado River wends its way through a beautiful, remote canyon. We spend 3 days exploring by kayak and camping under the stars. One of the most spectacular features of this area are the abundant natural hotsprings that grace every side canyon! Soaking in these thermal springs by star light is an amazing experience and will relax muscles tired from the days efforts. The unique "sauna cave" is a special spa-like treat! Great meals top off the experience!
Day 1: Meet at Willow Beach Marina along the Colorado River. We'll load all our camping gear into our kayaks and paddle 7 miles to our campsite. We stop for lunch along the way, arriving by early afternoon. After setting up camp, you'll be free to enjoy the spectacular natural hot springs a short walk from camp.
Day 2: After breakfast, we'll paddle a few miles farther upstream for a stunning view of the Hoover Dam. We'll explore several side canyons with hot springs as well as the famous Sauna Cave.
Day 3: After a final soak in the springs, we'll pack up camp and head back to Willow Beach. We'll be on the road for home by about 2:00pm.
