This course covers charts and compass use, tides and currents, weather, and planning kayaking trips. It is a BCU course and a pre-requisite for 4 star training, but also provides essential information for anyone who journeys on the sea! This course is taught either in a single day, or in 4 parts. Those who complete the entire course (all 4 parts) may register the course with the BCU and receive a certificate of completion for an additional $25 (this is required for 4* training).
