Stand Up Start Up

Stand up paddleboarding is a remarkable sport - easy enough to enjoy your first time out, and boundless fun and adventure for a lifetime!

You can SUP on nearly any body of water, and there is undoubtedly a body of water near you now. So what are you waiting for? Here's a hands-on introduction to the fun of stand up paddleboarding!

Learn the basics of balance, stance, steering, efficiency, and paddling for fitness. Our boards are stable and fun and SUPing is easier than you think!

This lesson will prepare you to rent SUPs confidently, give you valuable information to help you choose the best board for you to buy, and prepare you for learning more advanced skills. No experience is necessary! You don't even have to know how to swim as long as you are comfortable floating in a PFD (lifejacket).

Enjoy our abundant parking and hassle-free paddling from our waterfront location on Mission Bay!

Our tour and lesson prices include a 10% fee collected by the City of San Diego to maintain and improve Mission Bay Park.
