Our Bahia de Los Angeles trip is a classic island hopping kayak adventure in one of the Sea of Cortez's most beautiful locations! LA Bay is home to a vast array of marine life including numerous whale and bird species, dolphins, seals, sea lions, and sea turtles. As you might expect, the wildlife viewing is exceptional and the snorkeling is fantastic! The price of your trip includes 3 1/2 days of guided kayaking and instruction, kayaking equipment, and all camp meals.
With great paddling, hiking, snorkeling, and fishing at your fingertips, you'll be hard pressed to decide between white sandy beaches and the cool turquoise sea. While our exact itinerary must remain flexible due to variable weather and ocean conditions, we won't run out of things to do!
Day 1: 4:00 pm: Meet at Aqua Adventures to caravan approximately 10 hours to the location. This will be split into 2 days. We will eat lunch and dinner "on the road", and stay in a hotel (not included in the price of the trip).
Day 2: Finish driving and paddle to one of the many islands in the Bay for our first camp!
Day 3-5: We will spend our days paddling to and exploring many of the thirteen different islands of Bahia de los Angeles. Other activities include hiking, wildlife watching, snorkeling, beach combing, and just relaxing. You will find more to do hear than our short trip will allow!
Day 6: We will break camp in the morning and paddle back to the mainland for the drive home, returning late to San Diego.
