Your introduction to the dynamic world of the open ocean! Our topics will strive to take advantage of the days conditions and may include an introduction to surf zone skills, control in wind, basic navigation, towing and rescues in lumpy water. The skills learned in this class are prerequisites for anyone wishing to journey on the open ocean or to participate in many of our trips. It is also an introduction to BCU 3 Star training. Save $50 when you enroll in Sea Kayaking 1, 2, & 3 at the same time.
Details
• Minimum age is 14. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Prerequisites: Basics, Sea Kayaking 1 or equivalent. Sea Kayaking 2 and recent kayaking is strongly recommended (i.e., twice in the last 2 months).
