Kayak surfing is a sport of its own! With some of the world's most perfect waves rolling into our beaches daily, it's a great activity to pursue in San Diego! In this class, we'll learn about wave and beach dynamics, surfing etiquette, and the basics of maneuvering on waves. Students should know how to perform a low brace and sweep strokes. Take our "Basics" course if these are unfamiliar terms. This class is suitable for whitewater type closed cockpit, surf kayaks, or sit-on-top kayaks. We have Valley surf kayaks and Wilderness Systems "Kaos" waveskis for demo.
