The Wild Buffalo Relay

Presented by Puakea Designs

This race is an small craft relay race within the SoCalOceanRacing winter series. The race will include all small crafts with relay teams of 2-4 people (depending on the craft). The race will run from Two Harbors, Catalina Island, CA to Newport Harbor, Newport Beach, CA. This is a 41 mile course.

All Paddlers are responsible for booking their own accommodation in Two Harbors. You can make reservations for camping for 2019 starting Jan. 1, 2019 through the Catalina Island Company at Two Harbors Campground. Banning House Lodge is booked. All Paddlers are responsible for finding their own escort boat. The Puakea Team will be giving priority to helping out of country racers first.

All Paddlers are responsible for transporting their craft to Two Harbors. Please coordinate with your escort boat driver or team up with another team to transport your craft to Two Harbors.

We are not responsible for non-refundable hotel or transportation costs.

Full Refund: If you cancel more than 24 hours before your tour, you will receive a refund or credit (your choice).

No Refund: No refund or credit will be given if you cancel less than 24 hours before your tour for any reason, including those beyond your control. You may substitute another paddler provided they meet any skill or experience requirements.
